Blue Ribbon

Sell blue ribbons to help raise awareness and dollars for the Child Abuse Prevention Fund. We invite communities to use Blue Ribbons for Kids as a resource to help keep kids safe and families strong.

Help stop child abuse, one dollar at a time.

How it works:

  • Sell the blue ribbon icons for $1 during your organization’s designated month.
  • Place the blue ribbon icons in a prominent spot where customers and employees can see them.
  • Tell your staff how and why they should sell the ribbons.
  • At the end of your designated month, gather the donations and mail them to:

How it helps:

It truly takes a community to keep children safe. The Child Abuse Prevention Fund supports programs that provide services for families to help lower the risk for child abuse and neglect.

Tips for a successful campaign:

  • Set an organizational and/or personal goal and create challenges.
  • Ask everyone, every day during your designated month, “Would you like to donate $1 to help prevent child abuse?”
  • Award top salespeople.
  • Make it fun for everyone.
  • Give thanks. Just as we thank you for your support, it is important to thank your customers.

Wear Your Ribbon!

Wear your Safe At Home ribbon online and show your support for child abuse prevention. Go to http://www.causes.com/causes/466842-end-child-abuse-safe-at-home-org and add the Safe At Home blue ribbon to your Facebook page. And pass it on! Send the ribbon to friends and spread the word – together we can break the cycle. A few clicks of the mouse and together we can end child abuse and neglect.
